I sometimes wonder whether my having always hated Weller because he is pig-ugly, obnoxious and untalented is entirely fair. The more I think of it, though, the fairer it seems.
@grungesoundsgood the beatles left a legacy, Dont get me wrong I love the beatles, fact is lennon is a better song writer than Gallagher or Weller, McCartney however is not a better song writer than Weller, and maybe not Gallagher. Listen to the beatles, then listen to wings, then listen to McCartneys solo stuff, goes from superb with the beatles to crap solo. Weller/Gallagher are better than McCartney but not Lennon.
