The first decade of the millennium has seen a sweeping change of the entertainment industry, from African American actors finally getting recognition for their talents, to outrageous new comedians and darker superhero movies. At the same time, scripted television programming took a back seat to countless reality shows, while fantasy novels and documentaries became a film craze, and celebrity icons passed away before their time. In this video, WatchMojo.com takes a trip down memory lane to re-tell the key moments from the past decade from entertainment.

Title: 2000s Decade Recap – Entertainment
Views: 3 views

2000′s kid and teen
@sean007s
youtube was made in the 2000s and you’re using it right now.
FAIL
@SamPD2 The Technology of the 2000′s is good and video games are still fun to play.
@jvargasbronx Oh so indeed.
does borat really show racist people, i mean, i didnt see any racist people in borat, i mean is she using sarcasm? cause borat was such a lovely movie
@johnanth but im sure you love it like everybody does, if you dont wtf are you doing here?
im a late 1990s kid, i can remember things as far back as 1997, but when it came to 2000, i remembered alot, so im a 2000s kid mostly
but 1999 i remembered tons.
@SamPD2 yep that’s true that’s one of the good things that came out in the 2000′s and the PS2 too due to great games that they have.
@jvargasbronx Yup.
This decade has YouTube for one.
Thats a plus. Not to mention wikipedia.
Too much American shit…
@MrRebel1011 I respect your opinion and I know you respect my opinion. There are 2000′s kids are pretending to be 90′s kids, Saying they grew up mostly in the 90′s but they were born in the mid to late 90′s. Even though I was born in 1990 and a 90′s kid which I am but I like the 2000′s as well same thing with the 90′s. People out there need to agree on one thing is that every decade has its good moments and bad moments.
Um. You really don’t know me so don’t question my taste. I liked tge 2000s. If it is one of the worst decades, it isn’t the worst. The 90s hold that title in my opinion. I don’t care for remakes cause alot of them were good, only sum sucked. Remakes have always been going on. Music was great cuz I had a great taste in it, not hip hop. You really don’t know good entertainment and you have a hard time liking for it.
@MrRebel1011 I hope you’re joking. 2000s were one of the worst decades ever. No, it did not give us some of the greatest movies ever. No, it did not give us some of the best T.V ever. Crappy remakes have been made since the late 90s, and again, no, the majority of music this decade has been meaningless drivel. You need to develop some taste in movies, T.V and music, pronto. That means NOW!
I like the 2000s entertainment over the 90s. The 2000s acctually gave us some of the greatest movies ever and some of the best shows and cartoons. Remakes weren’t unpcoming until like 08. And even some of the remakes were great. We also had great music and technology. The 90s just can’t compare
god the 90s gave us some of the most inspiring and awesome films… forrest gump, philadlephia, the shawshank redemption, pulp fiction, the truman show, american beauty, cast away, goodfellas, momento, the usual suspects, boyz in the hood, god need i go on and on and on… wtf did the 2000s give us in entertainment? shit SHIT superhero flicks, a million remakes, epic movie n all that crap… only movies i liked from the decade were Eternal Sunshine OTSM, Slumdog Millionaire and Borat
Why do people hate this decade so much? I feel like I’m the only person who thinks it wasn’t that bad.
hahaha she mentioned American idol well it actually started in Britain
Passion of the Christ was not the same type of film that Saw was…
@hannah0094
The 3D trend started with Avatar which didn’t really come into full swing until 2010
1:55 the angry nerd FTW!!!!!!

FIRst of all the star wars film were not horrible and EPISODE 3 was a classic
you never know how long youll live, you may die tomorow…@niceboy6666
Just think, people like me who were born in the mid 90s may live till the 2080s. Think of all the shit we’re gonna experience.
